Omg when it's freezing cold outside, yeah it does. But yeah it can be good. And the whole 'it's gonna rain' smell is win.

Rain drops in this light makes me tear up. What is it about this screen that makes tears flow? Love from the warm lighting? The focus on the drops with the smooth crisp blurry background? Fuck if I know.

Hmm... I like the idea of love coming from the lighting. Especially since I didn't want it to be a very cold image.

The colors rock! You have a good eye for things like this. At first I thought it was some kind of abstract painting but upon closer inspection you begin to see the water drops and then you realize the color is reflected. Very cool!

Thank you! I did a little bit of tweaking here, because doing the cross-processed look wasn't giving me what I wanted.

hi naudia,
interesting shot, and interesting words for it. well, i like the focus on the rain drops, the contrast between the qualities. the colours are amazing, too. somewhat is missing in the composition, i think, to make it more spell-binding. but in general, i like this picture.
would you please so kind to explain the words you used here for me?
zahid

Thank you for your kind and insightful look into the image.
But with the words... As you know, it hardly rains in the Middle East. And when it does, it washes away dust and things start to grow and things become clean and clear.
The same happens when you go through a cleansing stage in your life. Little by little, things that were once confusing become clear and understandable.
