Yeh, I finished the sketch. XD

Despite being best friends, Riley and Apple aren't without their differences.

When Riley agreed to Apple's plan to go wading at the nearby pond, they did so under the assumption they'd just be splashing around in the water, or skipping rocks. If they'd known there'd be so many gross creepy crawlies around, they'd have been less enthusiastic about the idea.

Unfortunately for Riley, Apple absolutely loves those loathsome little creatures, and insists on sharing the joy of her discoveries with her reluctant friend.

Moments after the events of this drawing, she absolutely chased Riley around the pond with that frog... XD

None of the usual laughs in this one, of course~! This is just a silly li'l doodle, and a peek at the sort of shenanigans my beans get up to on a daily basis~ X3

EDIT: Hey all, just a little update! I wasn't totally happy with everything in the original drawing, so I made a few adjustments--some slight alterations to the sky color, a bit of finagling with Riley's eyes... and oh yeah, I added toes~ XD

My original idea was for their feet to not really even be visible, but rather be dark shapes submerged under the water, but... that didn't work. And I don't know how to do that. Soooooo proper toes it is~

Anywho, just thought you might like to see the updated version~! I'm much happier with it now, so I hope y'all are too~
