X-COM UFO Defense, the original 1994 game was....surprisingly creepy. Friggin' Chryssalids. It almost felt like a horror game at times. The sheer terror this game generated....astounding for an old game.Related content

Chryssalids can get easier over the course of the mission as the A.I dosen't rest them so they'll take constant movement with no restbite having no stamina as the game goes on. Saying that it's their touch of death that makes them rival the ethereals for sheer terror.
