Chara walked to the tree. He placed his hand on it. He look at Mt. Ebott.He died here.
These words passed through his mind.
Mt. Ebott loomed over in the distance. The same mountain where he had been told to run to. Where he could disappear to a better place.
Well, he wasn't wrong....
Chara sat down next to tree, and remembered. Remembered the ones who had been chasing him and his father. Chasing them like wild animals through the forest. Here, his father was about to succumb to his injuries, and he had told him to reach Mt. Ebott.
Then he had laughed.
Chara remembered asking him why was he laughing.
He had said, 'It makes it easier for everything to pass.' He had placed a hand on his head, and told him his final words, 'I love you, son.'
Chara shuddered. He placed his hand on his head.
For some reason, he felt alone.
