Theme #39- Flowers-----------------------------------------------------------------
Hello everyone!! Haha where to start....?
Well, I felt bad for not having posted in such a long time, so I thought it'd only be appropriate that I post a pic that I've been working VERY hard on and was a really huge project of mine.
I drew this about three years ago after ~KeybladeMewKasa once left a comment on one of my drawings a long time ago saying "How come no one includes my Kingdom Hearts OCs in any of their big projects?" hahaha so I started on this as a fun little thing of my KH OC along with other peoples' characters!
Thing was, though, after inking it all in excitedly (yes, by hand), my coloring skills at the time were awful and I messed up one of the panels SO badly that I cried and refused to look at it for two years haha.
And then I decided to pick it up again to see if I had improved or not! Lineart had to be retraced via SAI again so I could try again, but I was determined to finish!
The first 7 panels were done over November and December of last year. I finally finished panels 8 and 9 in January and July, respectively.
So yes-- this is dedicated to you, ~KeybladeMewKasa !
And I wanted to give SUPER special mention to ~ChibiKingSama for teaching me his scanning ways!! I couldn't have been able to post this without his help and support! >//< Thank you so much!

I saw you upload this a few days ago, but I couldn't find any words to describe the awe inspiring piece this is. I'm still having troubles but my lord, this is definitely one of your masterpieces. I love how you paired everyone's characters with certain flowers to describe them personalities. And the coloring is just fabulous as always. The fact that it took you three years to finish is also amazing, the will not to give up on this piece is grand.

Wow, the coloring on this is wonderful! (Though your coloring is always beautiful.) I really wish I could see this in person; I bet it looks even better in real life. Were they done on separate cards, or together on one sheet? Anyway, the compositions and the floral motifs are really nice. I love the detail and the individuality of each character. I especially love the backgrounds of the first two.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, KAIJIN! >.< (I don't think my coloring is SUPER amazing or anything haha but I'm working on it!~) It looks great in person (no scan ever captures the original for anything, sadly T__T), but I still feel like my work is a bit amateurish, so I'm gonna keep working at it!
I did the lines and boxes all myself by hand in pen originally on one sheet haha. But when I messed up on the coloring two years ago and wanted to try again, I had to retrace the first three panels via SAI so the boxes also had to be redrawn to accommodate.
I'm glad you like all of them >.< The backgrounds for the first two panels were difficult haha but I wanted to try something new. I drew this back when I had trouble differentiating characters in my drawings (expressions or otherwise), so it's a relief that you find them individualistic. ^^

No problem. :- ) I don't think your coloring is amateurish at all. The way you layer the color pencils adds depth to your work through color harmony. You put a lot of work into the drawing and it definitely shows!

I'm studying for a math placement exam in order to sign up for a college algebra class and it's taking way longer than I thought (I'm actually late and seats are running out, aaaahhh! XD).

Honestly, her panel was the first to catch my eye. Bright red sort of has that effect, though, I suppose, haha. I also love how she's the only one who isn't exactly staring at anything that the viewer can see. It makes Sakurie seem more mysterious or even curious, you could say. I definitely understand your drawing woes, though. I've tried recreating some of my older works for old time's sake, and it has just ended horribly on multiple occasions. *sob*
