I drew this piece in the beginning of 2020. It's quite dark and even kind of scared me. I was struggling with those inner demons called fear and doubt and with a good helping of judgement. Not a great mixtured But drawing has always been my outlet and has helped me so much!


When I look back I'm amazed and so grateful that so much has changed in my life



Funny side note: when I finished drawing the piece I suddenly had to laugh out loud, cause that hair sure looks like a familiar duck butt Somehow Uchiha Sasuke slipped in there

I love the clarity of this piece. Without even reading your description first, I got the sense that it represents self-doubt and fear and a strangled heart---all the anti-self thought and emotion we suffer sometimes. And sometimes when we look at that and give it a shape, imagination can open another door to dealing with it. An outlet, indeed. ......and, that big-eyed octopus critter in the bottom corner is where it shifts for me. It's strangely cute.

Ah, deine inneren DÀmonen sind wirklich furchterregend. Das große Ding erinnert mich ein bisschen an das Alien aus den bekannten Filmen. Eine wirklich tolle Komposition und fantastische Details. Es gibt viel zu entdecken. Und ja, das Zeichnen hilft immer, die DÀmonen im Zaum zu halten. Ich wünsche dir weiter alles Gute und so viel KreativitÀt.
