About 'LIBERATION BELLE' by Aramdeus (2023)

I'm not actually (as this piece might suggest) any big fan of Propaganda Art. Propaganda art differs from practicaly all other Art Genres in that it is didactic, not necessarily aesthetic. Its purpose in other words is to subliminaly influence people to do things they wouldn't normally do - like go fight in wars.

That said, at the same time I have always been fascinated by it. Propaganda Art has a strange allure and a power that is veiled in hidden intent yet direct and simplistic on the surface. It is a paradox of on the one hand colorful, bright, appealing imagery with a darker, often grimmer intent lurking just beneath the surface. What's not to like about that?
