yee, this was so much fun :3 it's kaoru, the guitarist of dir en grey. how i love him so...reference: [link]
done mostly in painter classic with a little help from photoshop. no idea how long it took in hours, but it was done over a span of...a few days. haven't kept track.

This is beautiful, it really looks like you can reach out and touch him, as though it were a photograph. The hair, jewelry and eyes are perfect, but the shading and the lips just barely give it away that it is really not a photograph--either way

Very nice, indeed!! You captured Kaoru-sama's likeness perfectly.
The only suggestion I can give is to maybe add a little bit of depth between Kaoru and the background. And his eyebrow seems a little awkward--maybe blending it a teeny bit into the skin to make the outline seem a little less harsh would work?

Thats so pretty, I love the colors. Pink and black are my fav. I like the way the lipstick is done with the black outlining the pink, its different. Thats a guy? Hmmm...anyway, great job!!
