Oh gosh, this place was both amazing and scary to experience. It was amazing because I'd never seen anything like this before. The freaky thing was going to the top of the lighthouse. Currituck lighthouse is the only lighthouse I know of that you can still walk to the top of. It's 220 steps to the top, and like 160 feet from top to bottom. I walked to the top of it, and god I'll never do that again. The view from the top was beautiful, you could see all the way to Virginia. But I just hate heights, so it was way too scary being at the top for long.
