I don't understand why this ship became a thing, i think the only reason is because they are both the number 5 of their respective railways which is a pretty shallow reason to ship them. Furthermore, in a story called Rusty's Revenge, James actually teased Rusty because of his name and the 2 didn't even make up which makes this ship very toxic.
