There are many things i find overhated in the world (Especially when it comes to the cases of TTTE Characters) However, if there was 1 Animated Character i just can't stand seeing hate for, it's got to be Mater from the Cars Franchise. And yes, this is a follow up to my Cars 2 is overhated Stamp which i did a while back here: It needed to be said at Some Point

Now that i have explained why this Stamp is being Made at all, let's go over some common things that are said whenever hate for Mater is seen.

Y is Mater the Main caracter of Cars Too???? That Roleeeeeee beeeeelongs to Lightning McQueeeeeeeen!!!!!!!

Many people have attacked Mater simply because he was the Main Character of Cars 2 instead of McQueen. And to that I ask: Who Cares?

I think having Mater as the Main Character in Cars 2 is a smart move simply because of how well exucuted it is. I loved how it expanded his character in Cars 2 and how it made him very sympathetic because honestly, he did more here then just being a funny sidekick to Lightning McQueen. I love how he ends up saving the day by realising that being yourself is the best way to do it, it's exucted very well here (A Lot better then how The Great Race exucutes it) Plus, If McQueen was the focus of every Cars related thing ever, don't you think that get super old really quickly?

Oh My Gaod!!!!! He's so Ennoying!!! Why does Heeeeee get so MUHCH Screentimeeeeeeeeee?!!!

This is another thing people have attacked Mater for, many people dislike the fact he gets so much focus in a lot of the Cars media but honestly, people who complain about this clearly don't understand what Mater is as a character. He's one of the main charaters and he's also quite an important one to, In the first Cars Movie, he was one of the characters to convince McQueen about having Fun in his life instead of always focusing on his Main Goal So of course he's gonna get a lot of screentime. And also, if Mater's fun and cheeky personality makes him annoying, wouldn't that also make Thomas and Percy annoying to you people as they're pretty much no different from him?

And here's the reason that takes the cake for Mater being so Overhated:

Y is he voiced by Laerry the CaBle Guy???? I HATE ThaT Guy!!!!!

Yes, some people have even went as far to hate on Mater just because of his voice actor and this has got to be the dumbest reason i have seen to hate a Character. I mean i can understand if you don't like his voice actor, but don't hate on a character just because he is voiced by someone you don't like. Especially since Mater is way more special then a lot of people realise.

So there, reasons i find Mater to be the Most Overhated Character in Animated Movie History.
