Yess more Romans! on toned paper goodness. I cranked this out pretty quick, I had fun with it. I havent drawn Romans in a while hahahaRelated content

I just realized what a great composition there is here. Maybe it's just a sketch, but it's great how you leveraged that triangular form and compressed space to really make him seem powerful.
Last week I placed an order from dickblick, but I couldn't find sketchbooks with toned paper.
But I did get some large (very large) drawing paper that's toned, so I'll get to try it out soon anyway. Maybe I'll cut one of them up into reasonable-sized sketch paper.

I wish that these websites would give more description about "how much" the paper is toned. I've found a bunch of different recycled paper ones, but I think the paper is pretty white.
