Description
I've been promising an eye tutorial / step-by-step for literally years at this point and it was high time I woke up and felt like doing a random eye tutorial XDI'm not happy with this as a drawing, because it looks weird and different and clinical when I draw eyes without faces (I don't know why??????) but I'm happy with it as a tutorial because it shows my processes and that's what I was aiming for XD
Anyway I hope you can get something out of this! Feel free to follow along, or ask any questions in the comments, and if you draw anything using this please show me because I'd be so curious to see!
For anyone wondering, I use a 13HD Wacom Cintiq, Photoshop CC 2018, and apart from the texture brush to add the freckles, I use only the "Hard Round Pressure Opacity And Flow" brush.Β

Aha! You did it then I can't really say it's helpful in my case, meaning no offense (mine are so much simpler) but this sure shall be to a lot of people and what I can really say, on the other hand, is that it looks great and that you're good at tutoring. This is cool

I've been looking to improve my organic/character drawing skills for a while, and I've always struggled with eyes the most, right next to hands. This helps a lot, thank you!

Hello. What kind of tablets would you suggest for a budget? Great work by the way!

As Helge said, I would recommend starting off with a Wacom Bamboo, or something relatively similar. I've started off with bamboo, then slowly worked my way into an Intuos Pro - always get Wacom, and never get knock-offs. <3
I once got a Huion display tablet - and it didn't come with pressure sensitivity, was very hard to install, and didn't even work too well. So just be careful I don't suggest a Huion brand at all.

Oh, thank you. Would you say Wacom Bamboo is alright with Win 10? *Sorry if you're a MAC user*.Β
I'm worried about any tablets malfunctioning.Β Β

Hmmm... I would assume so - I no longer have my own bamboo as I've sold it to someone else, but I've heard it works well on Windows 10. I have a Windows 10 as well, and use a Wacom Intuos Pro. The only real issues I've had with it were solvable windows problems... and it's relatively the same with the Wacom Bamboo. Β

If you're just starting out, I'd recommend a Wacom Bamboo, it's not very expensive (50 bucks, I think?), and good to get used to drawing with a tablet. Wacom Intuos after that, or if you're already used to tablets, or a Cintiq, but those are mighty expensive.

Would you say a Wacom Bamboo would work well with Win 10?

I haven't used Windows 10 (Windows 7 master race), but I don't see why it shouldn't work.

Hi! Thank you for your kind words ^^
As for the tablet, that's actually a little tough for me to say, as I have only ever owned a 13HD Wacom Cintiq, which is definitely not for a budget XD However if you're looking for a tablet with a similar monitor, I've heard Huion is quite good Also some of the cheaper Wacom tablets such as the Wacom Intuos don't have a monitor but are still good quality tablets
Hope this helped!Β

Thank you both. That really helped me. I'm now deciding between a Wacom Bamboo or a Huion 1060 Plus.
