He didn't, but I asked him for a version with a blank background for a collab and he was all "yayz collab!" so then I dabbed some colour, swished some shading, BAM!

Would you ever consider uploading a speedpaint to youtube so I could see what steps you take in coloring your work? Or is it a secret?
I suck at coloring, and I would love to be able to do something like this someday

uhhh, I didn't record it 
1. Flat colors
2. Add texture
3. find out where light is coming from
4. make shadows for said lighting angle
5. make highlights (very light white marks, mostly clear [1% opacity]) were the light reflects to the 'camera'
6. make shading (same as highlights just with black) opposite light source
7. add the little white marks on the eyes
I think that's it. Next time I'll record it if you'd like.
