Wallpaper fractals are a type of 2-D iterative map with adjustable parameters leading to an uncountably infinite number of possible unique solutions. In this example, each iteration of the map is plotted with a different colour or shade, depending on where it appears in the series. The earliest points are deep red, the most recent are white, rising through shades of red and yellow.
