Description
THIS is why I uploaded "Some Time Alone Together" in the first place. I did a remake of it on November 20, 2015. I'm VERY proud with how it turned out in the end!
I kept the same posing (I had just saved the poses to my dupes) and made some minor adjustments. I also avoided having Toy Bonnie's ear clip again. XD Instead of just having Toy Bonnie and Toy Chica against the wall, however, I put them in the corner to add a better sense of privacy. It also eliminated any possible background light.
This was also the time I was using a better resolution for Gmod. I first tested it with "A Hug for Garrett." (I made Gmod have the same dimension ratio as SFM (16:9) so if I have to use both of them in a comic, I can just scale the SFM scenes down to the Gmod ones without a noticable difference in frame size. This can be seen in Page 3 of "Finding the Right Words." There is a noticable difference in frame height between the SFM and Gmod scenes with the later being quite shorter than the first.)
I made sure to put the camera close to them so the picture didn't seem so distant. For lights, I used a single pink light to shine on the characters. I even went in the post-rendering section of the menu and slightly tweeked the settings a bit.
All in all, this was a MAJOR improvement than the previous version. Again, I wanted to show the difference between these two pictures instead of just showing this one. Again, since this was done in Gmod, I may go back in SFM and recreate this scene once more for an even better picture. Maybe
Anyways, I hope you like this! I'm still not done showing what all I've done underground, so keep an eye out!

omg i love this so much. my OTP is actually Bonnie X Toy Chica, but this was so beautifully done, i think i have to make an exception lol. I do have to ask, people keep saying they made things in GMod rather than SFM and I'm curious, because I have only ever used SFM. How does one go about making art like this in GMod? Art in GMod seems to be much more refined in my opinion (and probably less annoying and buggy lol)

Thank you! I'm glad you like it even though it's not your OTP. I too find myself occasionally liking other pairings if they're well-made and if I can learn something from it. So thank you for keeping an open mind about it.
As for making posters in Garry's Mod, it's a lot like making it in SFM. The main difference that I can think of, though, is that Source FilmMaker is dedicated to making posters while Garry's Mod is a FPS videogame that offers plays a huge sandbox to build in. While that is nice, I do admit I feel that posing in Garry's Mod is a bit awkward at times since I'm trying to do something like that inside a videogame. Put in other words, you're moving a camera in an editor in SFM whereas you're moving a player entity manipulating objects inside a physical environment in Garry's Mod. I do admit, though, that there are at least four times as many Gmod items in the workshop as there are in the SFM workshop, but that also includes the videogame elements such as Weapons, NPC's, drivable Vehicles; basically all the non-posing-related things are also in the Gmod workshop where the items in the SFM workshop are purely for posing and animating since SFM is an animating program.
Now I'm not going to say that posing in Garry's Mod is harder than Source FilmMaker because there are many ways it can be done in Garry's Mod. While you could just use the Physics Gun to manipulate poses, there's also many addons in the workshop that make posing a lot easier. The one that I used in this poster and many other Gmod posters was an addon called "Ragdoll Mover." It basically adds tools into the game that are very similar to Source FilmMaker in terms of translation and rotation of bones in a model. The only real challenging part, like I said before, is having to pose through a player entity instead of through the editor of SFM. Also keep in mind that Source FilmMaker was designed as an animation program, so making still posters is actually the first step in the awesome animations you see on YouTube. Not to say thatΒ animation can't be done in Gmod, but I honestly think using the dedicated tool (SFM) is the best way to go about making an animation or especially postersΒ in the Source Engine.
In terms of stability, Garry's Mod seems to be a LOT more stable than SFM in many cases. It drives me absolutely insane sometimes when SFM crashes over and over again. (It's still technically in BETA, but I guess Valve just decided to leave it as-is or something.) In my experience, it's more of a day-by-day basis on the crash rate of SFM. Some days it doesn't crash at all, and some days I just want to go punch Valve between the legs for not fixing the crash problems in SFM. Lol XD However, I also have found Garry's Mod to be a bit unstable when you have a lot of addons enabled. The more addons you have enabled, the more it drags Gmod, and the more resources it will demand. I guess you could say the same thing about SFM, though. Both SFM and Gmod do tend to crash occasionally, but I think Garry's Mod tends to be more stable so long as you don't go overboard with addons.
So really, in conclusion, both Garry's Mod and Source FilmMaker are great tools for making posters and animations in. Some people prefer Garry's Mod due to the fact that it's more than just an animation/poster-creating program, but I honestly prefer to use Source FilmMaker since it is a program dedicated to making posters and animations. The amount of control you have in SFM is worth the slightly higher crash rates in my opinion.
OMG, I DID NOT EXPECT TO WRITE THAT MUCH!! D: Sorry if I threw too much information at you at once! ^^'

That's ok, I don't mind reading a lot lol. I appreciate your answer though! You were very thorough. I like that. I'm just sorry it took me so long to reply. I haven't been able to make any art, so I haven't been on here. Talking about SFM being laggy and buggy (and yeah, they're never gonna take it out of beta ugh -_-), my desktop went down for the count and will be fixed soon, and my laptop COULD handle it I think, but SFM tells me right from the start that it can't. So far it's proven to handle a lot of things it probably shouldn't, so I might give it a whirl anyway. About GMod, well, I'm not really familiar with it to begin with, so I think making art with it would be harder than SFM, given I would have to learn a new way again. lol. But again, thank you so much for your reply! :-D

I actually made this in gmod instead of SFM. Sometime I might make a SFM remake of this.

Awwwwwwwwww! ^^
(It's really adorable! But I think, that you should mark this as a mature content with sexuall theme though. )

Thanks!
I'm not quite sure if this would fall under the category of 'sexual,' though... It's not showing anything revealing, and they really aren't doing anything 'bad.' They're just kissing after all.
But thanks for the heads up. I'll take this more into consideration in the future.

Well, as I'm on DA for a bit, I know it would count for sexuall content, even if in real they don't do anything that bad, I just know this side long enough.
And no problem! ^^
