Description

This (former) sub-page was inspired by an incident that happened about two weeks go. One night while I was working at my Dollar General, I was checking out customers. It was a few minutes until closing time, and we were getting ready to go home. Well the last customer attempted to buy a bottle of wine. It is company policy that we check the I.D. of anyone who attempts to purchase alcoholic or tobacco products. When I asked the customer for her I.D., she said she left it in the car. I had already rung it up, and to take items off a key is required to do so. I didn't have one so I asked the other person closing with me to do it. When she did, the customer pulled out a gun and tapped it on the counter and said she needed all the money out of the safe. After about 30-40 very tense minutes, it was over; she had left with the money and some other stuff, but the other employee and I were not harmed.
After over two weeks, the incident seems like a distant dream. Every so often, though, someone at the store will ask us if we were the Dollar General that got robbed. Or, if someone who knows me knew I was in it, they sometimes ask me how I'm doing. After a few days of my mind being very wired and a few nights of losing sleep (not because of nightmares, it was due to a bit of paranoia), I was able to conclude that my sanity was 100% intact.
The robber hasn't been found yet, but I pray that she gets the help she needs. I'm not sure what would drive her to commit such a crime, but I really pray that she gets the help she needs to help her straighten out her life. (EDIT: Police were able to get her about a month after the incident happened. When she attempted to rob another Dollar General, the manager on duty was able to trap her in the office. Although the robber escaped, police were able to catch her on foot. She has been charged with armed robbery of at least both incidents at that Dollar General and mine. Again, I just pray that she gets the help she needs.)
Anyways, after the robbery, I was inspired to do a (former) sub-page for my comic. I still find it peculiar that some of the greatest ideas and inventions are inspired by the negative things in life. I was really glad to see that I could take this event and make something productive and creative out of it.

So this is just a short comic on Bonnie having a bad dream. In his nightmare, an evil BLU Spy robs he pizzeria, saps his friends, and ends up shooting him. Bonnie then awakes screaming and realizes it was only a dream... right?

Surprisingly, I did not actually have any bad dreams/nightmares concerning the robbery; the only thing I could see being remotely connected was that I had trouble sleeping for a few nights after the incident.

Anyways, I hope you guys like it.

EDIT: I have upgraded this "Sub-Page" to a full-fledged "Page." This is now the official Page 2.

The reasons for this is because what I had initially planned to implement in Page 2 just didn't work out, and it just didn't flow right. However, what I have planned for Page 3 flows greatly, even with the former Page 2 removed. I also have some ideas on how to extend the storyline with this plot, something I usually wouldn't do for just a "Sub-Page."

With those reasons, Page 1.5 have been retitled as Page 2. Regardless of the name, though, I am working on the next page. Thanks for reading!
