Don;t worry, the redeemed comic will still keep on going no matter what happens in the actual show. "Catch and Release" is pretty funny though, I might make some adjustments to the comic, this is why I delayed the comic so I can get more info. Thanks for the critique!

Damn, is this comic good. The lack of dialogue makes it even more incredible, since we can understand, from their personalities, what each of them want to say without needing to read any words. The progress is also perfect, with peridot learning of the kindness humans can show, to how they can be fun and become important in a short amount of time. Her courage of getting near the temple makes it feel like she actualy wants to be redeemed, to say that she is sorry, but she doesnt know how to do it, and the way she looks at the sky and remembers everything, makes us see the show from her perspective. It must have been terrifying for her, who never had seen a natural fusion before, to watch sugilite form and destroy the tower she had worked hard to repair just to send a distress call and maybe go home. You delivered the sadness she must have felt perfectly, and the way steven helps her redeem herself. Also, i think the few months trasition was perfect, showing she might have volunteerely poofed so she could heal her leg and change. The sticker, the first thing she saw of the gems, is a nice touch too. In the end, a magnificent work that has to be appreciated. Great job.

Though the sufficiently wonderful job of redeeming peridot, though it seemed somewhat forced with a world destroying entity making a need to collaborate, with this, it has taken time, self discovery, and revelations and no panicking and hurry to leave, which I feel makes the shown main theme love much more significant. A lovely series in all...

The unspoken "fuck Jasper" makes me laugh. But in all seriousness, I think it would have been better off ending with just Peridot at the beach. When we get the front view of her, we can tell she's undergone dramatic change. The fact that she's in human garb and bearing the star symbol (and isn't dead) shows that things went over pretty well with the Crystal Gems, and has been able to integrate with Earth pretty well. But she looks shaken, and uncertain about how to reflect on her journey and what the future holds. But then having all the gems gathering around to signify that they're all such good friends feels like oversimplifying the development Peridot's had. Throwing in Lapis out of nowhere just feels like trying to hard to tie up loose ends.

Just think about the fact that Peridot got a redemption so quickly in these episode and Log Date 7 1 5 2 kinda explained it but before that 'Life and Death' felt like the Spongebob fun song

This is a great story. I saw the video on YouTube and discovered it here now. I have to admit, this is a very deep comic which I didn't expect to find for Peridot. Really good job!

Wayyy before the episode came out, August 8. I always knew that Peridot will have a chance of redemption (or at least live with the crystal gems) sooner or later in the show. Didn't expect it to be like in Catch & Release, but it's something.

This was incredibly well done. The song choices, the reactions, the pacing. It was all incredibly well done, and incredibly feelsy. Loved it. I'll be honest, I never really saw Peridot as the sympathetic type of person (Then again, I've just recently made it to the season 1 finale, so maybe it'll be shown later on) but you really made it work. Great job.

This is really cool, (claps) But for some reason I think that Peridot is going to be betrayed or killed by Yellow for failure or finished off by Garnet for forced fusion. Do you think Steven will get his healing powers back and cure the experimented gems?
