Description
Here is a commission from featuring his OC Discovery Prime in her ultimate form which consists of Space Shuttle "Discovery;" its external boosters and fuel tanks; 2 SR-71 Blackbirds; a B2 Stealth Bomber; and a XB-70 Valkyrie. Wow combiners are complicated! It took me forever to try and get everything to mesh together with respect to scale, but it's always a fun challenge^^ I'm trying to do more dynamic poses for my singles which means theirs a lot of different shadows going everywhere. But anyway, sorry it took me so longDiscovery Prime belongs to

So I see how the shuttle, the ET, the SRBs, and the SR-71's fit in, but where is the B-2 and the XB-70? It's really cool how you did the wings, the ET split down the middle and it just unfolds. Also, I think you made a mistake with the SR-71 legs. From what I see you kept the wings pointing in the original direction, so would that not leave two engines in the feet instead of one?

The B-2 is her right arm and the XB-70 is her left arm. As for the heel thrusters I decided to go with just one on each heel for aesthetic reasons. Given there massive size, it would have caused her foot to be either abnormally long or abnormally wide with respect to her figure. This isn't the first time I had to hide a thruster. Generally in cases like this or when there's an odd number thrusters per leg, I wind up placing the additional thruster on the back of her calf area or as a joint cover. In this case, the additional thruster is stored in her calf and covered by that back plate until she needs a little extra kick. After which the plate lifts slightly, the thruster pokes out, and serves as an afterburner.

I like the idea you had of using the second engine as afterburners. When she is flying do the SRBs follow the same thrust outputs as an actual space shuttle launch?

I imagine they put out a little more than a regular shuttle because the engines have alien origins.
