This pic took a long time to cg, believe it or not, very time consuming. Looking at how the pic on the manga looks, and how I drew it myself, kinda dissapointing there. Then again I havent been drawing alot lately, but that is no excuse, guess I have to start somewhere. Learned not to add too much color to certain areas, not every part of the body has to have 3-4 layers of color. Overall, a nice start, I plan to surpass this pic in the future.Related content

Looking at it a bit closer now, I gotta agree with ShadowWolf. She does look flat, um, I say try not to make every corner of the outline so sharp/straight. Use the Pen option instead of the Line one. Anything else... *looks*... .. your shading looks good, but could be a bit darker in some places though like the skin. For the viewer, the only real way to see the shading on the skin is to move up closer to the cpu screen (maybe uncomfortably*sp?* close). Other than that I'd like to see more from ya dude.

Your lineart is a little uneven. Use the pen tool
There are some nifty lineart tutorials for mouse users on dA.

Also, you need to identify a light source and add SHADOWSSHADOWSSHADOWS!
You onlt have shadowa thaat other objects cast. you need the basic ones too. The image looks too.. flat.

yea i agree, when I fiinished it, I noticed that it did look kinda plain. I kinda concentrated on making the colors blend so that the next darker or lighter color wouldnt stand out too much. But I see what you mean, bad move on my part. Thanks, I'll check out that tutorial.
