12'' Is the largest your character can be without an abnormally large banslot. (Anything over 12'' requires a banslot)
9'' Is the average size of a cat in TMW. (Note that 7'' Is the smallest your character can be without an abnormally small banslot!)
6'' Is the smallest your character can be with an abnormally small banslot. (Your character cannot be smaller than 5'')
