Description
Wand Designs for the main cast of my wizard story. I might go back and revise some of them later. In this verse, wands are often created by -- and grow with -- the wizard or witch they are used by. The materials of the wands have to 'resonate' properly with the energies of the user, and certain wands are better at certain kinds of magic than others. They have personalities -- some are more stubborn and hard to work with than others -- and are very unique to the user, changing over time as their magic develops.

From top to bottom:

* Jamie -- Not sure about wood type, but the wand is elementally attuned for lightning, and the metal bits are pure silver.

* Kim -- Peach wood, with opal in the wing inlays. Attuned primarily for illusion magic and transfiguration; symbolizes change.

* Ms. Hazel -- Holly wood, with gold and an amber stone. Attunes her to the natural world (amber being fossilized tree sap), but also to fire (holly color and association with fire).
