I like to avoid the violent requests because, well, I’m not great with blood. But hey, I definitely need the practice, and I like how this one turned out!
So personal story: no one I know IRL reads warrior books (stories of kids roleplaying it during recess make me super jealous, because I was bullied for reading cat books haha) and something that often comes up in the rare moments that warriors makes an appearance in our conversations is what if the cats come into contact with feral dogs? My friend likes to say there’s no way the cats could survive. And I reply, yes! You’re right! Let me tell you the story of Swiftpaw and Brightpaw! But they just move on and call the series unrealistic (which...it is? It’s a fantasy story??)
ANYWAY thank you to lavender laceration and red the dragon on YouTube for the request! As I’ve said, I love the first series and nothing really comes close to the violence and heartache it caused, and this scene really packed a punch for 9 year-old me.
