My entry for *slifertheskydragon 's calendar contestThe main characters of the 4 Yu-Gi-Oh! series play poker (and not realizing they are playing on the border of the shadow realm...)
I had lots of fun drawing this.

Yusei: My cards look fine, let's see if they can prove me wrong.

Astral: "Looks like there are more games involving cards. Interesting."

I do recall him playing with cards in YUGIOH series 0, before it became focused on the Duel Monsters. Though he was just stackingΒ them, I assumeΒ he still must have some knowledge of games at the time

Group pictures can be so hard and you pulled it off so nice. I love all the different expressions and the over all picture. It's a good layout too. Nicely done ^_^

Joey is trying to look innocent but is failing badly at it.
Yusei has seen his cards and thinks he has a good hand and the next round will only tell.
Jaden is bothering Kaiba with questions.
Yubel is juggling Poker chips.
Kaiba is annoyed with Jaden for pestering him.
Akiza is very nervous; so nervous her psychic power set her cards on fire.
Yugi is really unnerved by Akiza setting her cards on fire.Β
Yami is looking at Yugi's cards unaware of Akiza's burning cards.
Yuma is doing terribly and is upset about his cards.
Astral is observing the ciaos at the Poker table.
