A random crossover idea that popped up in my head and wouldn't leave me until I draw it.So I present you the chaotic spirit and the kind naive sweetheart of Yu-Gi-Oh! as their parallels in MLP:FiM (Note that the real Discord is not that evil..and Serenity probably doesn't have high chances to change Yami Marik..and still, it was fun to draw)
This is not a shipping! I don't ship these two (Cause poor Serenity...)
Characters: Yami Marik and Serenity/Shizuka (Yu-Gi-Oh!) as Discord and Fluttershy (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic)
Tools: Lineart - copic multiliners. Coloring - Copics, Promarkers, Faber-Castell artist pens, Stabillo pens, glitter pen for Y.Marik's eye (it really shines). Photoshop for cleaning, editing and color corrections

XDD, I had to write a Serenity X Yami Marik (Spaceshipping) one for a fanfiction contest quite recently. It was ridiculously hard to get it to not end badly for Serenity, XDD.

(That sort of thing happens often on the list, especially when minor characters are involved. Of all the ships, I've always found 'Acquaintanceshipping' [Tristan X Esper] to be the weirdest.)

Yeah - from the seven-way 'All Millennium Items X Each Other' to the 'Character X Their Favourite Monster', there's definitely some weird ones. To make matters worse, some people pair characters with inanimate objects. I mean, Kaiba X A Rulebook is sort of obvious if you've seen the Abridged series, but Yami Bakura X Duel Disk? Seriously?)

(Well, it usually goes off the idea that Kaiba's ego is so big that Kaiba is actually in love with his ego. But yeah - actual Kaiba X Kaiba is just weird.
(You can see where it came from, though - someone goes 'What if Kaiba actually screwed the rules', and that's what happened. There is no damn excuse for the other inanimate objects, though.
...I have read a Bakura X toast X Ryou fic. The author said it was a joke, but still. Mind = blown.)

Yeah - I think the YGO fandom in general can be pretty disturbing sometimes. My first brush with it about a year ago(FanfictionDotNet, 'nuff said) had me on the verge of running for the high hills. Pro Tip:'Puppy' in a fanfic summary does NOT mean that it is about juvenile dogs. Similarly, 'Puppyshipping' does NOT necessarily indicate that there are puppies in boxes, and 'Lemon' does NOT indicate the presence of a sour-tasting citrus fruit. It took at least seven horrific fics for me to wise up and check a wiki to see exactly what those terms meant around here.)
