The Guardians

No one truly knows where Cinidaes actually came from, however old wise tales from dusty old books tell us that these small creatures are the guardians of the world sent from the 4 gods that oversee us all; Selene, Gaea, Hestia, and Hades. They watch over us and protect us however each one serves a different purpose in life.

My experience with Cinidae
I was only 12 years old when I met my first Cinidae. I remember wandering into the woods at night. "Dumb" people would say, but I just got into a heated argument with my parents and to me it didn't matter where I'd go. It was quiet, damp and dark as you could hear the howling in the crisp cold fall air along with my creaking footsteps. I come across an opening clear of any trees in a circular fashion with a huge pale white flat rock placed in the center. It appeared to be a seat so I took a deep breath and sat down, leaning back to look at the partially clouded covered sky. I sat and gazed, thinking about what happened a while back and sighed. "No one will understand me" I said tears falling down my face as I huddled over holding onto my legs. The sky begins to darken as the sound of thunder roars, confused, I looked up and a flash of lighting hit the ground in front of me and sent me flying back into a tree unconscious. Next thing I knew Bright light is in my face to the point where I thought I was dead, the only thing keeping me to this world was the tapping I feel on my face. I opened my eyes and it was early morning, sun shining and I see a cute fluffy face all up in my face. I Got startled as the little ball of fluff flew off behind the rock.

I crawled up to em slowly and it looks like a small rabbit chinchilla canine mix thing with wings as ears. I was so confused; it was cute and it was unique. It walks up to me holding a sealed glowing scroll. Around its neck was a necklace collar with the name Solar. It placed the scroll in my hand as I start to read " My Dear Arccy of Arlia, Ive see you been having trouble down here on earth about understanding, I leave you this Sincerely Selene <3." I looked down and see a small gem fall from the scroll into my lap. I set aside the scroll and picked it up and laid it on my palm. It started to glow brightly as the gem disappeared and a cute baby animal the size of my hand appeared looking at me with its big eyes. She has cute small winged ears and the shards of her gem down her back. The grown creature took the scroll and left a note before disappearing into the morning sun.

That note read, What I have bestowed on you is a guardian. Us gods call them Cinidaes, and they shall watch over you, be there for you and understand you In return you must love them and never leave them helping them discover them and their purpose. Only then can you be truly happy." I look down on my lap as this cute little girl just sleeps there as I begin to pet her.."Cinidaes" I said softly. "You name shall be Nova" as I picked her up and carried her home.

Since that fateful day I have found that there are four types of Cinidaes, and that's because each type of Cinidae is granted by one of the four gods. Each Cinidae has their own purpose in the universe in which we live.
Cinidae family is as follows

Cinidae the Guardians of the Skies and Space gifted by the Goddess Selene. They are known for their Wings like ears and clean appearance. They were the first Cinidae to appear on the planet.
Terainidae the Guardian of the Earth and all living on it gifted by the Goddess Gaea. These Guys are noted for their shaggy like appearance and the excess of fur surrounding them. Terainidae are usually more natural in colorings and would rarely have any color absent from nature.
Marcinidae the Guardian of the Elements(Fire,Water, Wind, Rock(Earth), Light and Dark) gifted by the Goddess Hestia. You can tell the difference from the others in the Cinidae family due to their "lack" of ears. In fact these guys posses aura to replace said ears in the element they mastered. They have what looks to be socked paws and more angular fluff and are always vibrant in colors.
Direcinidae The Guardian of the underworld, The masters of life and death gifted by the Goddess Hades. The guys are usually darker in color and always have long dipped ears. They Rather conceal most of their face with a skull due to a magic gem on their foreheads that humans seek after.

What is the life cycle of a Cinidae?
All Cinidaes start as a gemstone. Once activated by the recipient the gemstone disappears and pop goes a baby Cinidae. The color of the gemstone is reflected in the Cinidaes eye color.

Do Cinidaes die?
No they do not. They never truly die, every new owner is just a new life and they reincarnate into the same Cinidae just with a different purpose. Do they remember their past life? No.

How big are Cinidaes?
Cinidaes range in sizes however none are bigger than a toy dog and none are smaller than a chinchilla. So they are perfect sized for any home lifestyle.

Do they Fly?
In a way yes. Cinidaes can hover, however, each type has different hovering limits. Cinidaes can hover around your Shoulders for a period of time. Terainidaes can only hover off the ground for short periods at a time. Marcinidaes can hover at head level but only for short periods of time and Direcinidaes cannot hover.

Where can I get a Cinidae?
They are usually sent to me by the gods to find good homes. Meaning you can get one by flat sales or auction or even special events like a DTA or WTA or even sometimes a special visit from the gods messenger Luna itself with a raffle.

What do I do with my Cinidae?
You treat it like a pet you love, an oc or anything you truely value. To find their way they need you and for you to be supported you need them. It's a bond between you and your Cinidae.

Can I make my own?
No you may not, these are gifts from the four gods. One if them has to deem you worthy or in need before bestowing you a Cinidae. MYO slots right now are not available.
