MAKORRA WEEK 2012Day 4: Crossover
IMPORTANT EDIT/DISCLAIMER:
Just so we're clear, this is just a mock-up crossover of LoK/Scott Pilgrim, and it in no way implies that any of the other ships (or Korra's other love interests) apart from Makorra are actually evil or unworthy or something, lol. Just having fun with the theme here.
Presenting:
Mako as Scott Pilgrim, Korra as Ramona Flowers, and everybody else as The League of Evil Exes.
For the record, I haven't read the books, I've only watched the movie and seen some book art.
EDIT: Just to clarify:
- Tahno is Evil Ex # 1, who has mystical powers and can summon demon hipster chicks,
- Bolin is Evil Ex # 2, a "pretty good" pro-bender turned "pretty good" action movie star,
- Iroh II is Evil Ex # 3, who has telekinetic powers due to his excessive tea drinking,
- Asami is Evil Ex # 4, a goth ninja chick,
- Doorman and Howl are Evil Exes # 5 and 6, fraternal twins and prodigies at guarding doors
- And Amon/Noatak is the final evil ex and master-mind behind the League of Evil Exes.

I see this as Korra (Ramona Flowers) fighting off all of her evil exes to be with Mako (Scott). Ties in more with Korra's mind set in LOK...plus, I am more ok with Korra kicking butt than Mako getting any more over on his little bro, Bolin.

Haha I really like this crossover idea. The title is fitting too: Mako vs. the World - the internet seems to hate Mako a bit.
To be honest, Noatak looks a lot like Tarrlok here, maybe that's just because I like Korrlok or it's simply the hair

I really like the layout design as well. It immediately shows you what its about. Nothing to miss, just clear artistic communication.
And its fun to think about who the other characters would be.

Omg I love this so much! And I died when I saw Asami! (Makorra/Korrasami shipper here) all I could think of was the part were Scott punches her in the boob. And how Mako would do that to Asami. Then how Korra could use Mako's arms and legs to beat up Asami. XD and then her "weakness" when they would make out.

I like Amon/Noatak's inclusion, but I prefer Tarrlok there, because he is another blood bender, and I like Korrlok!

Hehe, Amorra and Korrlok are the same to to me shipping wise, but I chose Amon over Tarlock b/c he is the main antagonist of LoK not to mention the way he looked at Korra after she escaped from the box in episode 9, seemed very suggestive to me lol

I'm glad that you see them as equal. I like Amorra as well, but Tarrlok edges it for me. It does make sense for the main villain to be the last evil ex, but when I first saw it, I thought of Tarrlok because Amon is a little lighter skinned than his brother. And the hair reminds of Tarrlok. But I do like his tie.
