Description
This is a true blast form the past. I drew this in my Drawing 2 class in the Spring of 1997 for the Prof. who later became my faculty mentor. To date no other students have tried to squeeze three figures into their βAnatomical Three Partβ study. Sorry the picture is a little off. This image is mounted on foam core and is very warped. I need to remount it some day.Related content

I had to do one of these too! My panels are in a closet somewhere, I should find them and scan them. Great job on yours. Using three characters-you aren't afraid of work! Haha

Did you go to Ball State University? This was a common project for Drawing 2. I think I'm the only one who has created one of these with three figures. It was tough to squeeze them all in but it turned out well in the end. I have veerrrrryyyy slow hands when it comes to drawing. This drawing took all of my time when working on it... But it was a labor of love. I love rendering anatomy.

me too, I love drawing anatomy. And yes, I went to BSU, for three semesters then I transferred to Herron. I remember that project had me up at all hours of the night sitting on my floor surrounded by colored pencils....many,many hours of work! And I am still just astounded that you took on the workload of doing three figures! I hope you got an A! haha

I took a peek at your website. Your work is amazing. My roommate's sister went to Heron. I never knew much about that school. BSU was the last school on my list but it was the only one I could afford.
And yes, I got an A on the drawing.

That's amazing. The best bit is that it all seems to be anatomically correct. 10 out of 2 stars.

Yes the project was an anatomy study and I worked hard to try andn make everything as correct as possible. It was not an easy piece but was very rewarding once finished.

You didn't happen to go to BSU and have John Gee or B.J. Gerogio for a class, did you?

i have never taken an art class outside of high school, that i wouldn't consider the two hours i sat in a cold room doing nothing, an art class. i taught myself how to draw. these pieces you see are very much just the beginning of my work.

It wasn;t my concept. It is a standard Drawing 2 project that two profs. give at BSU. But thanks just the same!
