Get the feeling of impending apocalypse and at the same time I'm waiting for Charlie Chaplin to appear. Very cool feeling and sense of impending movement.

Well, this is quite haunting.. I really like how certain cranes are more focused, but they still blend in. Hard to describe

This seems to be taken with a film camera, since I could make out that it is a negative of a photo. But,this photo deservingly receives a DD today, because, simply with the grain and the film BW on this photo,It seems that this was taken in the 20th century (Obviously,it isn't,because why would there be construction cranes at the time???).

If it were a film "camera", we would not see the sprocket holes. The image is positive, but black and white slide film is pretty rare these days.
I'm going to guess this was done with a pinhole camera, and the film was either reversed in photoshop, or a contact print on film.
No matter what, it's a great shot.

Agreed. I just remembered that I handled disposable film cameras in the past and it doesn't have sprocket holes (Sorry for the mistake..)
But,yeah,it still doesn't change the fact that the shot's gret, because as I said,it really seems to be taken in the past.

Well, that's what photography is all about;it's more than just capturing the moment. It must have meaning and a story behind the making of the photo.

I used a holga 120, however I did the ghetto method of sticking cotton wall in the camera to fit a 35mm film into it so what happens is that the image fills up the entire film
