I remember those. It was cool back as a kid, but now looking at it makes me cringe a bit.

A tank, with an open cockpit that had the pilot's head sticking clearly above the turret armor. Not to mention aluminum armor makes poison gas when burned.

lol yup it really is a hazard to the Joe's plus if other joe's decided to hop for a ride they need to hop in at the back of the vehicles and the only thing that will keep them safe is by just holding the grasp rail which is deemed dangerous. I remember the similar vehicle for this is the German Wirbelwind (WW2) and the Soviet ZSU-23-4 Shilka minus the grasp rail.
