Drakes are a race of magical creatures belonging to the family DESCENDANT DRAKARI of DRAGONS . Drakes in particular descend from the TRUE DRAGON OF FIRE .and hence have multiple fire related powers . they are commonly called Fire dragons by regular people . Drakes are one of the dragons who are not tolerant towards sapient kind . and hence are considered dangerous . Drakes commonly live in greatly hot enviornments like Desserts . on The IRIS CONYTINENT , Drakes are the rulers of the CRIMSON DESSERT . in terms of durability the scales of a Drake are not that hard but they are placed in layers on top of each other which provides great protection . the topmost layer of a Drakes scales are bright red in colour showcasing the extreme heat they carry . Drakes also hold the ability to manipulate smoke and steam that they naturally produce allowing them to suffocate thier pray if they wish to without needing to use any of thier internal fire.
