See all those fancy colored backgrounds? Well, enjoy them while you can. I'm doing a lot of those at the begining to set the mood of the comic. Once the setting is well established, you'll be seeing a lot of empty backgrounds...
The characters don't look as clean as I feel they should, but I chalk that up to not being overly familiar with the characters when I drew this. And not being sure that I'd actually finish this project. I think they get better as I go along. I hope.

Heh. Indeed. No, she was never burned per se, its mostly that she was raised by sheep dogs, and they are quite territorial and don't take kindly to people/dogs/anything that aren't part of thier pack.

Hm well it's nice that she knows the weather patterns and the dangers they can pose. Really though she needs to be less focused on the most obvious threat. What if a rabid raccoon got hold of her and gave her rabies?
