The Painter

Part of a group of characters I'm helping develop with a friend. This group would consist of 4 cultists that were hand-picked and horrible mutated by the leader/god of the cult to serve as her knights.

The leader of this cult and the rabbit race in general would be one Empress Rhapsody, a somewhat spoiled brat with seemingly emotional-sadistic tendencies whose main goal is to plunge all creation into a neverending age of fear.

While the presence of the Empress alone is a pants-shitting terrifying experience, I wanted this to reflect the most in Bea here (name might change). Standing smaller than the other knights (and cultists) she's a very meek and shy character that would serve most of her life as a chew toy for the Empress. Whatever because of narcissistic anger or simple amusement, I imagine most of the encounters Bea had with her "friend" would end up with poor ol' Bea as a sobbing wreck on the ground covered in wounds and bruises.

As mentioned, Beatriz is a painter but not your run of the mill artist. The Empress granted her the ability to channel her frustration into a destructive force, however this comes in the form of hazardous ink or nightmare-fuel painting come to life to attack any poor sod that 1v1's her.
I felt her tragic backstory of neverending bullying would compliment her abilities perfectly. Beatriz had known nothing but fear and pain her entire life, unable to escape physically she would turn to art in hopes of finding a small sample of comfort. Utimately, this too would prove futile as the first thing Rhapsody did after her coronation was turn her into a mindless husk and repurpose her talents into something not to bring comfort nor hope, but pain and misery.

Don't expect Beatriz to get a happy ending because most people don't.
