ITS DONE!!!"We've found a kind of paradise in a flowers bloom.
We've seen the end of a mystic land so close it meets the parting sun.
We've shared the thoughts that two could share, we feel the true magic that we send....Searching for something new in our Golden flowers bloom"
This took me forever and a day to do!
but it seems to have paid off, its how i wanted it.
and those flowers are actually called "forget me not"

i really like this one. it kinda reminds me of that old animie laputa... i think thats the name of it. about the castle in the sky. the robots arent the same though. but im sure you wernt thinking of that movie when you made this.

It looks like the last thing they did was sit down to watch the end of the world together...
I especially love the flowers. They have just the right color to compliment the reflective metals and add more light without actually lighting the scene. Well done.

I agree that this is very much like a Royo painting. I love his work and so this is amazing to me.

i had a look at some royo stuff and dont really see any comparison.... he paints women with loads of flowers

Hmmm I think maybe you have the wrong Royo. I'm talking about Luis Royo. He paints robots and women together, which is why I saw a comparison. He also does a lot of just robot paintings, and all with an airbrush. Maybe you saw some different works of his, he does a broad variety of stuff. Check out his Evolution book especially, and some things in Prohibited are biomechanical also.

Sad, this was submitted two years ago and I'm just now seein it. Excellent work, I like how you did the texture on the robot's skull and body. Clearly put a lot of time and effort into this piece, and the flowers are a nice touch. The lighting helps convey the mood very well.
