Hey everyone~I want to submit this old picture
I never finished this one but I still think it was enough work to show it here
.It isnt finished because I wasnt satisfied with the perspective and the overall composition. :/
Maybe I will paint some similar picture in the future but just better.

Great atmosphere in this. I like the contrast between the girl and the boy. The girl looking out over the city seems older than the boy, and his focus on the bubbles helps to highlight that (supposed) different.

Do you use textures for concrete, metal, wood etc.
or just brushstrokes (if so, WOW!!! you rock!)

If that boy weren't in it, this would have a seriously hardcore Atlas Shrugged feel. At least to me. But I like the little boy being there, and I like his bubbles. Now I'm reading all these metaphors into this, but I'm not going to get all pretentious and list them. Awesome pic!

I really like this picture. It makes me feel uneasy, but also content and longing for something. About the only thing I don't really care for is the boy. His face, build, and style. I just saw this when I scrolled up; you just kind of scribbled on the underside of the molding. XD

I know you say you aren't happy with this painting. And I have to agree that it has some off things about the composition, although most of them has already been disused here so no need to repeat them. ^^
But art is about more than technikal skill and perfection, it's about expression. And I find that in this. 
What I wanted you to know is that I really like it! Enough to 
No matter the problems, I think it has a great feeling of dreams, air and freedom to it.

Wow, dass ist wirklich mal ein enorm schΓΆnes Bild! Und auch so wunderbar poetisch! Ich finde den Gegensatz zwischen dem alten GrΓΌnderzeit-Haus, auf dem sie zwei stehen, und den HochhΓ€usern im Hintergrund wirklich genial!

I think if you moved some of the bubbles to go more in the girl's direction you would be happier with the composition?
They seem to lead the eye out, as is. Otherwise it is a beautifully done painting.

The bubbles are a part i would change completly if I would finish this picture, but oh well... :'D

I admire this work. I tried a digital painting one time and it took so long I've never done it again. (It was a flower composition.)
