I can't tell if she's going to murder him with the knife or if she's taking the knife away from him to stop him from killing himself. Or maybe she just came from the kitchen and never put it down. So much mystery!

Amazing, your work always has that rich tone that I adore so much.
The atmosphere looks so peaceful with lots of neutral tones and soft textures, and then you catch a glimpse of the knife. I think she should be holding it in her other hand instead, like she's still trying to hide it but her mind is already made. It adds to the foreboding tone of the pic, I think

Great angle, composition, and that cold lighting... I can really feel it. It raises all kinds of questions; what's the story here? Who are these people and what's up with the girl with the knife (before I noticed that, I felt this real sense of intimacy, and then the knife just made me go, "wait, what?!"). Very filmic picture--your work is inspiring! Finish please

I usually don't comment but I just had to. The thing that stands out to me most about your paintings is your incredible ability to figure out what needs to be rendered in detail and what doesn't. I was staring at this piece for a whole minute before I noticed the faucet was barely sketched in and the tassely bits on the rug were mere strokes. You have an incredible knack for knowing exactly what a viewer is going to notice. It's almost like observation in a real setting, where you don't take in all the details. Anyway, brilliant work, and I hope that made at least a touch of sense. C-:

What is it that you have to create all your work? I know you obviouly use cs 3 but what else? A wacom tablet, painter...etc Please tell me, I want to draw digitaly but I need a guide before I waste hundreds of dollars by mistake.
