i bet you never thought you would see the finished piece...those work in progress shots were submitted AGES ago!
well after a lot of time and effort, here she is..... Motoko Kusanagi
this started out life when i decided i loved the anime series so much that i wanted my very own poster of it...so i thought i would make one
i suppose this scene was inspired by episode 4 in 2nd GIG (GITS fans know the one i mean) theres an amazing scene at the end where kusanagi and her tachikoma are chased under a hail of bullets from one of the Hornet attack copters...so i painted my version of that
and dont feel so sorry for the tachikoma...its just a shell.

I do not think anyone besides you can tell you how happy to be with this amazing piece of art. This is truely the best independent pieces of Ghost In The Shell fan art I have ever seen anyone do, in my whole life.

I love this. This is professional quality work. I love the detail that you put into pseudo-Motoko, and I love what you did with the detail that you put into the tachikoma. The sheer detail and the sheer beauty of her, and the city she is being attacked in. I love this.

I think I saw this image in my county fair one year. I thought I seen it here before then don't worry the person who took it didn't get anything for it. I was upset to see it there and even told the fair staff, but I couldn't prove it.

Its like the first movie Ghost in the shell when the pupet master realize that he is beyond A.I
