I put this together a while ago for the Capcom game im currently working on at GRIN studios "Bionic Commando" a remake of the classic NES game from the 80's. Anyway this was meant for magazine covers and posters etc and since ive seen it in about 10 or more publications i figured i could post it here for everyone else.... pluss my gallery needed an update
oh and another game i worked on a little bit with regards to lighting is out next week.... here is the trailer [link]

I played the original on the NES, and I hated it as a kid. I mean, swinging around is one thing, but couldn't I JUMP? just didn't make sense and made controlling difficult.
But to this piece. ummm. . . . words fail me. Can I be involved in your line of work?
P.S. the date on his Bionic Arm. Is that the date of the original?

It's a pretty damn cool design. Funny thing, you put '1987' in the arm's joint. That's the year the original Bionic Commando came out, right?

I'm rendered speechless with amazement right now -- I literally have my mouth limply open. The realism here is beyond me, and the lighting is simply stunning! That bionic hand and the city are too realistic for my mind to think otherwise Oo

As a standalone piece, 'tis awesome. From a character design standpoint: sweet mechanical arm, love the "1987"easter-egg on it, and point for using dreads instead of "typical brown hair" that you find on so many video game characters lately. Ultimately, however, I'll need to see the guy in action.

really beautiful work man, and I love the finish you've brought it to.
Only gripe is the strong and even rim light on his head.. I feel it could be a little less strong along the outline of his face, as that is really making him look flat
