I put this together a while ago for the Capcom game im currently working on at GRIN studios "Bionic Commando" a remake of the classic NES game from the 80's. Anyway this was meant for magazine covers and posters etc and since ive seen it in about 10 or more publications i figured i could post it here for everyone else.... pluss my gallery needed an update
oh and another game i worked on a little bit with regards to lighting is out next week.... here is the trailer [link]

I loved that game and that's an awesome redesign. Glad they decided to move away from the bright red mohawk of the old game. Also, I hope you still watch Hitler explode at the end.

Your textures, fine detailing, backgrounds, lighting always impresses me so much. This is crazy, it looks like it was almost a photo. I love this. I wonder how long it took you to complete this =\.

One small thing though. And this might just be me (or the angle), but aren't the muscles on his upper right arm folding over each other in an odd way? 
And if you wouldn't mind me asking, I was wondering if you used a photo as a base for the city in the background?
I was wondering cause something about the lighting at the waterfront area caught my eye as being photo-esque. ^^
And I do think this is simply a kick ass piece of art!

Tangently related: I've witnessed video's wherein they show how the hand transforms from a normal one to the 'grappler' seen above.
That they've gone through the effort of showcasing that in as realistic a fashion as they can gives me high hopes for the game. It gives the impression that they're really giving this their all, a refreshing thing from the gaming industry.
If they have talented people such as you on their team, then it'll be an instant classic.

looks pretty good. can't really say i've ever seen a budget production with todays technology but with an old concept. rather nicely put together the blending of the old and new aspect in the video too. very interesting indeed.

I think you're the only digital artist I'm watching right now, when I saw the small thumbnail from my message centre I literally mouthed "wow", on closer inspection, his butt pockets are too small, but all the details of this are really good, it's fun to look at.

Very awesome, subject wise isn't my cup of tea. But execution is phenomenal! I love the glow on the arm as well as the halo lighting on his hair. Those are just superb!
