Description
I was working on a Xenosaga fanfiction back in 2004 (which got stalled, unfortunately) and came up with some different weapon and armor designs for KOS-MOS. Both the armor and staff designs are derived from Batai energy staves and battle armor in the Weapon Zero comics.This one was colored in Photoshop, but there's a whole heck of a lot more hand-drawn linework than computer work in this piece, so I felt it was appropriate for the Traditional category. I'll put the lineart up for comparison.

The amount of detail on her armor and staff. I've loved Xenosaga for a long time, and R*Scythe was one of my favorite weapons... although R*Staff might beat it.

That is very impressive! Must have taken a long time to design such an intricate piece of work. I really love the look of the character and the armor is very nicely drawn. Good job on the colouring, too! I love the blue hair!
