Thank you very much dear, I am glad you liked how it is coming out. I am trying to find some time for the coloring, in fact, I am still not sure about how to color this. So it might be a surprise.
Makes me happy that we share the understanding when it comes to the spirits, I am also trying my best to get a better balance between the human and animal form 
The season, well, I am still thinking about it, but I'll probably favor summer with its many torrential rains and stormy skies. Lots of water for our wizard to deal with

Glad to find someone who thinks the same way. And thanks for the compliment. If time is being a barrier for you, might be a good idea to try making simple sketches to practice. Stuff like this for example: Daily Sketch #8 - The Lord of Huckleberry Glen that can be done in 30-45 minutes, and once you find more time, you'll be able to get much more detail on your projects. That is what I am doing since time is being very scarce recently.

Thanks fellow, the clean aspect is part because of the bristol paper that is very white and smooth, and the other part because I am testing this different style with very very basic shading as it will be colored (maybe painted as well) later

The spirit looks rather thin. I know it's here for wisdom, but still... so small!

A good wizard must know how much power they can handle, while a spirit summoned using the water of the basket is small and docile, one called from the river itself or a larger source could become uncontrollable and dangerous, breaking the thin balance of the planes resulting in chaos.
The powerful must learn how to tame their arrogance while dealing with outsiders, as their nature is mostly unknown.
