M'kay, this description is 2 months old now, but here it is nonetheless... This was drawn immediately prior to my corresponding Samus deviation, as a practice before doing the nicer one.Woot! Started on a new sketchbook! This here’s the first page of said new sketchbook... Tried Vectorman, but with a diagram to guide his limbs, since it’d be a bit hard for me to correctly place his spherical joints and stuff. And Samus, with a bit more attitude. And mirrored. Not sure why I did that, I figured I’d just flip the image when I colored it and just kept going, I guess. And a slightly out-of-proportion gun arm. Whuteva. I got a better diagram system for her now, just wanted to try it.

I love how did her expression! You can tell /so/ much with just eyes and body language, though most people don't know it until they draw her in that bulky, complicated suit of hers instead of the tight blue outfits.
I LOVE how you manage to draw her in a style! I can never manage it.

Good job Scot, thats nice and stylish. Its crazy how we have similair tendencies with our drawings. Vectorman really has no definate form, so I do what you do- just draw whatever comes natural. Keepz it up.

I need to do some more of Vectorman... it's fun to do somebody with no definite form. Even better, I ought to play the original game. I doubt that'll make it into the Wii Virtual Console lineup... but hey, you never know...
Hey, you think you could put together another one of those reference sheets, but for Vectorman? That'd be sweet. I'd like to get a similar design for him to what you draw.

They never did any other ones apart from the genesis versions sadly. I think you're thinking of Earth Worm Jim - and yeah it did stink, only good for retro value. They had plans to make a PS2 Vectorman game.
They should be able to put it in the lineup easy- if you remeber, in Sonic Mega Collection Gems they added vectorman 1 and 2.
I don't think I'll be able to make another sheet like that now. See I brought my computer to my friends house- but my parents for some reason told them not to let me on the internet with it. Therefore I can only use their computers, only for a small amount of time. Pretty fustrating- I have no clue to why they did that. But I'll live. I'll be working on flash and drawing stuff while I'm out I guess.
