This is how the sketch originally came out - Sonic and Shadow back-to-back. I cropped it to just Sonic for the Brawl series. That's not the best Shadow I've drawn, I'll admit... or the best posing... or the best guns... but whatever. It is what it is.Honestly, I think Shadow would have been great to go alongside Sonic in Brawl. One feature cameo from a rival franchise is enough, but gameplay-wise, he'd be a joy to play as. Kind of like a Ganondorf-to-Falcon clone, perhaps with remixed B-moves so he'd play something like Zelda - teleports, ranged Chaos attacks... a Final Smash that slows down time... yeah. They should've had me on the Brawl developers' team.

I think it would work out just fine. Executive meddling is the worst enemy of fun, though, so I know well enough to be realistic about who they can and can't get into the game. Maybe next time.
