FINALLY!!
You have no idea how long this took me - not only the reference sheet, but all the researches and tests to finally get to his final design. I've been thinking about this guy for some months (2 or 3 maybe), imagining this 'horrible' hybrid walking by my side when I was walking alone to school. I have grown quite fond of him with time and decided to give him a tangible appearance.
I worked on his design for some time really, and the first ones were terrible. He wasn't making any sense! But how to make a plausible hybrid between a primate - a mammal - and a spider? After several tests, realising it was clearly way harder than I though, I almost gave up. But heh, I loved him too much not to try some more times. And by some kind of miracle, I finally got this design which, I believe, is a quite plausible and realistic one!
It took me some time also to find his colors even though I knew I wanted something pretty close to the ones of the spider species he's a hybrid of - the Segestria Florentinas. Finally got to this result that I like.
I also decided to let him have his palpal bulbs even though he doesn't need it anymore. 'cause it's pretty cool looking!
Obviously the reference sheet took me YEARS. I've never made one ever before, and I'm not really satisfied with the result. I feel like it's messy and missing a lot of informations. I'm not even sure if my english is correct in here so please my dear english speaker friends, if you notice any mistakes, tell me!
Critiques would be really appreciated!

Anthropomorphs exist - they're a part of our society, work and live among the regular humans. They're a minority of course, and they are victims of racism. But even if most humans don't trust them and call them freaks, they can live peacefully... Except for some of them. Most hybrids are dogs, sometimes cats or horses, or other kinds of mammals. But other kinds exist, those that are so rare people wonder if they aren't nothing more than just myths. Insectoids and arachnids also try to live in this world, but they are seen as monsters and if seen, are hunted. They are believed to be unable of reasoning, only following their insect instincts, and humans are sharing horror tales in which people are killed by them. Even if the other hybrids are also way more human than animal, these outcasts are said to be brainless.
Having to live alone and silent, some actually turn crazy. Some people have already been murdered by them. But who wouldn't become hateful against the main species of Earth which forces you into loneliness and despair?
They're very rare because of the fact that it's terribly hard to find a mate when you're alone and a so-called monster.

Mederic has lived most of his life alone. He has always preferred to live in the countryside peacefully, not too worried to be found. Using an old bus carcass which he almost entirely buried, he made himself his home. Going out only at night, to find clothes, water, and food in nearby farms and fields. His fearsome appearance isn't to be taken seriously: Mederic is a deeply peaceful creature who loves to tame animals to break his constant loneliness.
