I never really understood it when people compared or portrayed women as 'dogs'. Women have always reminded me more of cats than dogs, and vice versa men have always reminded me of dogs. Maybe it has to do with dogs being masculine looking creatures. It just seems so odd to me. Regardless, this is masterfully done and certainly a different view on Cerberus and Hades that I've seen.

The coloring and composition of this work look amazing, everything flows together very well here.Β
I didn't realized who or what the man and women were supposed to be until I read the description.Β I imagine Hades looking more sullen and gloomy and Cerberus women looking more feral and viscous. As is, it looks more look that women are fawning over a hero who saved them from a dungeon.Β
Either way, while it isn't quite how I would imagine Hades and a trio of Cerberus women to look like, this picture really is fascinating to look at.Β
What gave you the idea to use three women to represent Cerberus? Β
