Description
The inspiration for this is Volk's Customize Figure and Ball Jointed doll. The look I wanted was halfway between a BJD and an Anime Figure.
The model is a ChibiBel & BJD hybrid I was experimenting on making. I made her a bit taller and older than both original figures. While I was at it I also experimented on materials in shade trying to get a material that looked like bisque mixed with plastic.
The only postwork is adding background and signature.

If you mean the chibel or the bjd separately, I think it should. Most incompatiblity problems I find with poser versions are with hair not figures. I actually used the included texture to match the facial skin on the chibibel face.

sorry
I meant the bjd since it said poser 6.
I picked up a dragon for free from efrontier but none of the morphs work so that's why i was a little curious about it.
You're so good at doing these doll type images.

That's odd about the dragon which one was it?
You can always email MayaX to check if it works in Poser 5 sadly my old machine with poser 5 isn't connected at the moment.
Thanks I think it's that I love and collect dolls so it shows in my work

I don't think that dragon has any morphs it comes with mats . Are you sure you weren't tying morphs that were meant for the eastern dragon from Daz. There's also a similar dragon from poserpros, all three look similar.

no morphs? i thought at least it'll have an open mouth morph... oh well it's still pretty cool though.
I have that daz eastern dragon but i never use him and I do have that poserpros one... he has tons of morphs now.

I have the Daz dragons but haven't really used them much either. I did make a lot of art using the hatchling dragons one day need to make a collage

MayaX did the BJD modelling though I made sure to choose an outfir that showcases the joints

She looks good. The only thing that looks a little off is her bloomers look a bit big, like she has a big butt. Still very nicely done.

A slight problem with 3d cllothes is the tendency to defy gravity, lol
Thank you

Ohhh... this makes me want to go out and get BJD. To bad she is not a free download. I'm still debating about spending the $$ on her.

The good news on BJD is Maya already made mayadoll head bjd as a free download. He's also working on a BJD with animedoll head. It's available at Renderosity now but it's still $2 cheaper at his website. It is higher priced model but I've been tracking it down for over a year now since I saw a similar render on a Japanese site. I had to get it. My real BJD isn't this versatile and it cost $700 after shipping

Looks like a classic [link] combined with Anime! Very different looking! What's 'bisque'? Still looks plastic looking. Great work!

Bisque is a type of porcelein often used in doll making

Oh! I thought bisque might be some kind of French sauce or something. Ya know--tomato bisque, or something.

She's really cute!
The only "wrong" thing are the knee joints; in real BJDs they're more graceful and lock when standing...
Beside this, I luv her :3!

Thanks, it's a hybrid figure unfortunately her leg part is fused to the ball. I agree the looking knee joints would be a great addition to the figure.
Hopefully at some point can figure out how to correct or will model one myself.
I have a feeling MayaX modelled BJD base to show off the joints not hide it.
