Description
Only took me about three months to finally figure out a set of tributes for these two. Decided that there is a reason that I've never actually painted one of my birds, so I went with an even simpler style. tbh I like it, I feel like drawing every feather distracted from whatever was happening in the scene.

And a little history since I can't stop thinking of these guys:

Kari the griffin and Helena the raptor had a very extravagant wedding in front of every lord, lady, and other royal or rich person that the king could think of. it was a very nice affair and Kari had made sure that everything would be suited to Helena's tastes. However, that ceremony was solely for the outside world. Their own vows were whispered to each other long before either said "I do", and the only ceremony they ever wished for was a single day out of sight from the kingdom; away from guards and advisors and anyone else. With the help of the guardians of their now united houses, they managed to do so.
And while Arkeon and Veradis have known each other for much longer than Kari and Helena, i think this day is when the two really start to warm up to the idea of sharing their duties in protecting a single family.

And now i need to get them to Alpha because i have a need to see what their children could look like.
