When Dragon Saber and Mammal Slayer hit each other, the released a wave of creation and destruction. This creation manifested into several beasts and gave them the power of dragons. Those dragon guardians are linked to the energy constructs of all life and work to keep the balance.

Firetail is the smoke dragon guardian and likes hot steamy places or for some reason Ryo's head and Pyra's chest. Every guardian has a certain orb with a characteristic symbol of their behavior, but in his animal form its just a red ball which he likes to play with.

It is nothing much know about those guardians since they like to live well hidden so that many people even believe they are just legends.

But for some reason Firetail hates Tofu, not the Tofu it self but for some reason the name itself :I
