Description
Back in the 2017, the company would no longer actively develop new features or hardware for Windows phones, citing its low market share, and the resultant lack of third-party software for the platform.Microsoft had largely abandoned its mobile business, having laid off the majority of Microsoft Mobile employees in 2016, sold a number of intellectual property and manufacturing assets (including, in particular, the Nokia feature phone business) to HMD Global and Foxconn (through FIH Mobile) (which began producing Android-based smartphones under the Nokia brand) focused software efforts on providing apps and services compatible with the incumbent Android and iOS instead.
And then, Microsoft made its first Android smartphone, Surface Duo.
Then it getting average/mixed reviews with problems, accidents, etc. according to The Verge.
And then in my own idea/opinion for the future, What if Microsoft acquire an almost or less than a half of stake in Android from Google to power the future of smart devices and televisions together.
Then they formed the new company for Android, Android, LLC, the company where they developing software like operating systems, create new features, fixing bugs together, better performance and stylish, etc. for future smart devices and televisions from Samsung, OnePlus, Sony, etc. and future Android smartphones like Samsung will sometimes have both Google/Microsoft pre-installed apps from the start to prove the best with better reception in the future.
Android, LLC can allow you to signing in to Microsoft Account along with Google Account at the start of the setup on any old/future Android phones and devices just like Surface Duo before this (except for Google Pixel devices, besides, you can sign in with your Microsoft account on the brand-new Android services on Settings app after the setup if you are curious about it) and you can choose Google or Microsoft pre-installed starter apps and if you want, you can choose both and both Google and Microsoft starter apps are starting installing after you finish setup except for future Samsung Galaxy devices because future Samsung Galaxy setups doesn't including the choose Google or Microsoft pre-installed starter apps section, besides, if you sign in with Microsoft account as well, it pre-installing more Microsoft starter apps, also you change change default apps and services like search engines, browsers, etc. in the setup as well.
Also Android, LLC is replacing Google services with the brand-new Android services on Settings app on any old/future Android phones and devices from Samsung, OnePlus, Sony, etc. and you can login into the brand-new Android services by using your Google and/or Microsoft account.
If you want to edit and/or check it, you can edit and/or check the services after you clicking the brand-new Android services in the Settings app, you can also use your Microsoft account to check the other Microsoft services that is almost alternative to Google services like Windows, OneDrive, Microsoft 365, Outlook, etc. on the Microsoft services to autofill, backup, sharing, changing default apps, etc. with Google and/or Microsoft account.
Also Android, LLC will revamping/rebranding setup UI into the Android official website styled UI to still avoid confusing with Google icons, settings, etc. for stock/non-custom Android smartphones except for Google Pixel setup UI because why not.
Also Android, LLC is now allowing some few of the qualified companies like Microsoft, Samsung, etc. to use its own non-Google icons, settings, different setup UIs, etc. at the start of the setup in the future non-Stock/custom Android smartphones like One UI, Microsoft Launcher, etc.
Also Android, LLC is still allowing some few of the qualified companies like Microsoft, Samsung, etc. to use display font styles at the start of the setup in the future non-Stock/custom Android smartphones with Segoe UI, Samsung One, etc., some of the users sometimes wants Roboto font as default, so the other companies decided to add the changing the display fonts section in the setup in the future smartphones should be work just like OnePlus before this.
Android, LLC is making the new other apps to communication for the future stock/non-custom Android smartphones, these are, "Android Contacts", "Android Messages", and "Android Phone" while Google rebranding other communication apps to Google color-style icons like Maps, Gmail, etc., also Android LLC is partnering with Apple to fix the issues together and "Android Messages" is now supporting SMS/MMS instead of RCS just like iMessage's way to show the better high-quality pictures on Android and iPhone devices.
Android, LLC should make the brand-new default keyboard for the future stock/non-custom Android smartphones, it's called "Android Keyboard", replacing Gboard to still avoid confusing with Google because Microsoft still co-owns Android with Google, however Gboard was still the default keyboard for Google Pixel devices exclusively.
Android, LLC will rebranding Wear OS by Google back to Android Wear in order to avoid confusion with Google but Google Play still remained and still owned by Google too until Android, LLC planning to rebrand Play Store in the future.
Android, LLC, Apple Inc., and Bluetooth are partnering each other to make the brand-new way to share and transfer the quick pictures and files on your iPhone and Android the easy way than the third-party sharing apps, introducing the "Bluetooth Nearby Share", all of the future Android phones and iPhones are now supporting the "Bluetooth Nearby Share", you can share your favorite photos, videos, and more on your iPhone to Android.
Then Microsoft should announced that they will make an all-new Android smartphone, Surface Phone, it has the same features as Surface Duo and Windows 11 but this time, it fixed the features to make it even better and faster with better performance, longer battery life, bigger camera lens, etc.
It also comes with the Microsoft Launcher as default home app just like Surface Duo.
Well, it's my prediction for the future of smartphones to choose from, whether their opinions is up to them to agree or disagree, it's my choice to make a better future in the earth.
Don't worry about the competition commercials between Apple, maybe partners can help solve the problem to make our better way for the future of technology.
I own nothing.
