As requested by ^wdwparksgal , how I make a really cheap light box for photographing small stuff, for still life photography or for good artisan craft presentation.

Special thanks to =twistedangel9 who sent me my little kitty for Christmas last year.

A light box is very handy for lighting objects with diffuse, even light. This is mainly to cut down on glare and control the direction and intensity of light. The box also lets you control what the background looks like, so a messy or distracting background won't detract from your craft presentation.

I used the box from my new air conditioner. Everything else I already had lying around. The poster board was just a few dollars. I made my first box using a model in an article in MacWorld. Unfortunately my cat, Bims, decided to use it as a bed and squarshed it beyond use. Mom asking for the tutorial got me off my behind to finally make a new one.
